Sometimes know by it’s red cover, this is the digital debut.
Greatest Hits was the first Joseph Song album. Isn’t that a funny name for a first album? Ha ha! This one’s got Whisper Still and When the Levee Breaks.
Using only Sonic Foundry’s Acid software, all the sounds were recorded in little pieces (since the software is built for loops) and has some of the machine left in it. It also marks the beginning of using the name Song: I was finishing up Greatest Hits and was searching for something good to call myself when I saw the film, “Smoke Signals.” In the movie is a character named Susie Song and I thought that might work for me. It turns out to have come in handy over the last few years.
Oh, and the original disc had 34 seconds of silence between the last two songs. So, there you go.

Well, I guess I did everything you can hear, but I did have a lot of inspiration from my friend Greg Martin. So, let’s say Greg played the saxophone or something on here, but the data got corrupted so it didn’t make it.
